A moment of silence, please, for the 2010 Red Sox season.
. . . . .
Thank you.
One final thought: given the number of injuries he had to deal with (and the resulting continual shifts in the lineup), I say Terry Francona deserves consideration as Manager of the Year. With a stable, healthy roster ….
I guess you ended your short Red Sox column right there, with those dots after the words “stable, healthy roster.” yeah, . . . what might have been.
They might have been a contender.
It’s a pity that the voters for the Manager of the Year award overlooked Terry so completely. Maybe it was the same people who voted for Felix (13-12) Hernandez for Pitcher of the Year, and they weren’t in the mood to overlook some stuff and emphasize so of the coulda-shoulda’s a second time. Just a guess.
